LOCAL PRINTING COMPANY RECEIVES HONOR
FROM US MARINE CORPS.
April 20, 2007 -- Express Press received a special flag that was flown over the skies of Iraq onboard an EA-6B Prowler in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Express Press, founded in 1978 in Gates, NY, received a special letter and certificate in the mail yesterday from the US Marine Corps. Express Press has been printing school yearbooks and military cruise books under the name Expressly-Yours Yearbooks and Expressly-Military for the past five years.
On April 19, 2007 the company received a special gift in the mail from US Marine Corps division VMAQ-3.
Express Press received a US flag that "was flown over the skies of Iraq inboard an EA-6B Prowler in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Honor of Bob Clar." The certificate continues on by saying "Thank you for your patriotism, loyalty, and support during this deployment. We are all grateful for you!".
Along with this certificate was a letter signed by Sergeant R.K. Troxell of the US Marine Corps. speaking about how the books that were printed are "not just a book, it has deep meaning to all of us. It was a combat deployment that brought hard times, and constant challenges .the entire time we were there. Express Press has helped capture those memories that will last a lifetime"
