31st International Gallery of Superb Printing
September 15, 2005 -- The 31st International gallery of Superb Printing presented more than 2,500 entries from around the globe to its International jurors August 11-13 in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. The competition is devoted to the principles of honoring excellence in the graphic arts by Celebrating Craft, Applauding Art and Showcasing science. Throughout its development as a prestigious graphic arts competition, the International Gallery has been proudly produced by the IAPHC, a trade association with thousands of individual members around the world.
In 2005, entries originating in Australia, Britain, China, Holland, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Mexica, New Zealand, The Cayman Islands and Singapore joined hundreds of other entrants from around North America in competing for honors including sponsored Best of the Best awards, which are named awards bearing the support of a world class roster of Internationally known graphic arts supplier firms.
2005 marked the sixth straight year more than 2,500 entries were judged. More than four dozen international judges trained their expert eyes on these entries which had to pass three grueling rounds of judging to be eligible for the Best of the Best named awards.
The international Gallery of Superb Printing has become one of the premier printing events in the world.
